The 5 Best Vitamins For Healthy Hair

While hair loss can be attributed to some medical conditions such as alopecia, it’s also a natural part of growing older.  But there are small things you can do every day that may help.  Here’s the lowdown on the top 5 vitamins that can help keep your hair healthy, strong, and help to prevent any potential loss.

http://www.bonanza.com/listings/100-ml-of-100-pure-and-certified-argan-oil-for-hair-loss-and-hair-regrowth/218344132

Biotin

One of the most commonly known vitamins to promote strong hair is biotin, a B-complex vitamin that is sometimes referred to as Vitamin H.  Biotin promotes healthy hair by increasing the hair’s elasticity and protects against dryness, which also helps prevent breakage.  In addition, Biotin helps produce keratin, a primary component of healthy hair.  Some even believe that biotin can slow down age-related graying.

While Biotin deficiency isn’t common, some of the symptoms, which may alert you to the need to supplement, are hair loss (sometimes resulting even in eyebrow and eyelash loss), chronic conjunctivitis, dermatological issues, and even depression.  Thankfully, it’s fixed simply by either taking it orally or by getting it through the following foods:
  • Brown rice
  • Green peas
  • Lentils
  • Oats
  • Brewer’s yeast
Recommended daily doses should not exceed 100 mcg in adolescents or adults.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is a commonly known antioxidant also known as retinol.  Its function is mainly to promote eye health; however, it’s also widely used as a means to promote healthy hair. Vitamin A helps to produce healthy sebum, an oily substance secreted by the scalp, which keeps hair from drying out and breaking off.  In addition, Vitamin A fights free radicals that weigh your hair down.
Vitamin A is found in the following foods:
  • Cod liver oil
  • Krill oil
  • Carrots
  • Spinach
  • Peaches
While Vitamin A is essential to healthy hair, you must exercise caution, as too much Vitamin A can lead to toxicity and can actually result in the opposite effect – hair loss.  The maximum daily amount you should consume, either through supplementation or through your diet, is 25,000 IU.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals, is often referred to as the “good skin” vitamin, but its assistive properties go far beyond the skin. Vitamin E also helps the body’s blood circulation by increasing oxygen uptake, which in turn aids the body in producing new hair.  In addition, some believe that Vitamin E has an affect on the body’s immune function, further increasing it’s ability to prevent hair loss. It can be taken by mouth, applied topically or can be found in the following foods:
  • Beans
  • Soybeans
  • Leafy greens
  • Wheatgerm oil
  • Nuts
The recommended dosage of Vitamin E is at least 400 IUs a day.  However, caution must be exercised when supplementing with Vitamin E as too much has been known to cause bleeding due to blood thinning.   Because of its blood thinning properties, it’s also important to remember to discontinue the use of Vitamin E prior to any type of surgery.

Pantothenic Acid

Pantothenic acid, also called Vitamin B5, isn’t a commonly known vitamin, but is highly effective in the prevention of graying due to aging.  In addition, it can help reduce the natural loss of hair due to aging.  Pantothenic acid is believed to help strengthen hair follicles and their cells, allowing them to function properly.  In addition, pantothenic acid also helps your scalp get rid of dead skin, clearing the way for new growth to occur.
Pantothenic acid can be found in many Vitamin B complex vitamins, but can also be found in various foods, such as whole grains and eggs.

Inositol

The last vitamin that is important for healthy hair is inositol.  Inositol is, unofficially, grouped into the Vitamin B group of vitamins.  It’s certainly not a commonly known vitamin, but is responsible for a number of support functions within the body.
Inositol aids in the health of cell membranes, particularly those in the eyes, intestines, brain, and bone marrow.    Some also take inositol for the reduction of blood cholesterol.  However, one of the most recent findings show that men who took an extra dose of inositol daily reported that their hair loss had improved, with less hair falling out. While Inositol can be produced by the body through the natural process of breaking down glucose, it can also be found in the following foods:

  • Beans
  • Citrus fruits and cantaloupe
  • Whole grain breads
  • Brewer’s yeast
Naturally, vitamin supplementation alone will never take the place of a healthy, balanced diet.  But with proper supplements, you can combat hair loss and slow down premature graying of the hair all while growing old gracefully.  Just remember to check with your health care professional before adding any supplements to your diet.

SULFATE, SILICON, ALCOHOL, NACL FREE HERBAL NEW ANTI HAIR LOSS SHAMPOO ARGANRain

Hair loss is a very a common problem in fact, it affects not only men but also women and children. While hair loss in men is commonly related to balding, other times, it can be a result of poor diet and lifestyle choice. The most common cause for hair loss, however,is a prolonged illness, such as typhoid or jaundice, which can result in sudden and excessive hair loss.In many cases, it could also be due to an imbalance in the hormones, for example, if your thyroid gland is not functioning properly, you may experience sudden hair loss. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can also result in hair loss in some women. Apart from these, hair loss is also a side effect of certain medicines.Fungal infections of the scalp can also be a cause for hair loss.

Cycles of growth

Our hair growth is identified to be following three phases during its life, namely anagen, catagen and telogen. Anagen is the phase that lasts from two to five years and this growth phase is terminated by extreme interruption between hair shaft and nourishing papilla. This interruption lasts only for a few days and is called the Catagen Phase. The next three months the hair rests and this period of resting is called Telogen Phase. After this resting period, the hair falls and in its place a new hair growth cycle begins.

Causes of Hair Loss

The primary cause of loss of hair lies in the genes, the genetic endowment and is irreversible. There is also loss of hair due to the Chemo therapy, treatment of infection by ingesting chemicals or drugs into ones biological systems. The other supplementary factors are stress, poor diet and personal hygiene, physical illness, environmental issues like pollution etc. Lets see each one of the causes in some more detail.

Genetics

We all carry genes from our parents in equal proportion. If anyone of our ancestors has had permanent hair loss it is carried forward to our lives also and hence irreversible. This is called Patterned Baldness, more pronounced in males and hence the common Male Patterned Baldness or MPB.

Male Pattern Baldness

This legacy that one inherits is most common in young males but also known to affect the middle aged people. Early detection is important and to date there is no known medical cure to this ailment. Good scalp cleaning and nourishing is important. Generally speaking, around twenty five percent of men under 30 years of age and sixty six percent of them over 40 years of age experience male patterned baldness. It starts the process by thinning the top of the head or the hairline and recedes further towards the crown. In some cases the loss is more pronounced around the crown.

Pregnancy and related issues

The hormonal status undergoes marked changes during pregnancy and some of these lead to growth of hair. This is due to the fact that the Anagen phase of growth is more prolonged. However, after delivery the hormonal balance is restored to its erstwhile levels and the prolonged Anogen phase is induced into Telogen phase after completion of which the hair is lost. Therefore when a woman loses large amount of hair after about three months of delivery, there is no need to panic. This loss is temporary and after a month or so it will return to normal levels, new hair follicles replacing the old ones. A similar situation is true in the cases of abortion and when under treatment with female sex hormones or with the contraceptive pills and the treatment is suddenly withdrawn.

Fever and Other General Illnesses

A typhoid patient, after passage of about three months after the fever, tends to lose excessive hair. High fever due to other causes such as dengue, viral or low fever but prolonged as in tuberculosis or recurrent as in malaria can also lead to excessive hair loss.

 Emotional Stress

Emotional stress can also lead to hair loss irrespective of the factor related to the stress. The factors can be as varied as work place, exam phobia, love affair, marital discord or of losing near and dear ones the hair is induced in to the telogen phase prematurely.

Excessive Dieting

Hair shaft is nothing but a protein called Keratin; hence diet is very important factor in the growth of hair. In order to reduce their weight, people tend to do heavy dieting and this can lead to excessive hair loss. A proper and healthy diet is very essential for healthy hairline. Hair loss due to dieting is not seen if the process of diet control is slow.

Accidents and Injuries

It is observed that some persons lose excessive hair due to accidents.
Anemia :Chronic anemia is also a cause of excessive hair loss. This anemia can be because of deficiency in iron or due to frequent loss of blood.

Drugs

It is a misnomer that use of antibiotic leads to hair loss whereas the disease itself can be a cause for hair loss for which the antibiotics have been provided. But there are certain drugs mainly used for treatment of cancer or immune system, which can lead to excessive hair loss, and hair regrows the moment the use of drug has been stopped.

For Healthy Hair

Start With Proper Nutrition

This is probably the single most important factor to having healthy hair. Just like any part of the body, the hair needs certain nutrients in certain amounts to be healthy. The problem is that the average person`s diet doesn`t supply all of these nutrients in the proper amounts.

There are many ways to increase your vitamin intake – eat dark vegetables, nuts, whole grains and pure oils. Or try a hair vitamin. Look for products with essential oils like vitamins E and A, flax seed and borage oils, argan oil.My choice is http://www.arganrain.net  Be sure your hair vitamin also includes significant amounts of B6, B12, Niacin, Biotin, pantothenic acid and folic acid – the elements found in healthy hair. Be sure any products you use inside or outside are formulated for relaxed or chemically treated hair.

Be Sure Your Hair Is Properly Moisturized

Dry hair is unhealthy and can lead to problems like split ends. Some people are lucky enough not to have dry hair naturally, but they are in the minority. Look for products that contain jojoba oil. Adding Argan Oil to your skin cream can help improve skin tone. It is a natural emollient, making the skin softer, cleaner, and all around healthier. These properties make it ideal for use on the scalp to clear away build-up that can inhibit healthy hair growth. In addition to helping relieve dry, itchy, and flaky scalp, argan oil can also nourish and condition hair follicles, thus preventing or repairing damaged hair.

Keep Your Scalp Clean

Having a clean scalp is essential to healthy hair growth. Over time sebum can build up in the hair follicles which will stunt the growth of the hair and cause a "thinning" look. It`s
important to clean the scalp thoroughly to prevent this. Look for products that contain de-ionized water, argan oil )which acts as a super moisturizer that infuses dry, brittle hair with vibrant shine), Shou Wu extract, silk protein, calcium, vitamin E, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, folic acid, collagen and citric acid. These nutrients promote healthy, fast growing

hair and are reported to work together to simultaneously soften and strengthen hair. Again, be sure your product is formulated for not only relaxed, color treated, and braided hair, but for natural hair as well. Again i would recommend you www.arganrain.net it really helps.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Unfortunately, chemical treatments like relaxers, curly perms, and coloring can cause damage to the hair. Relaxers can be particularly damaging because they work by bringing down the bonds that hold the hair together resulting in breakage. Use products that contain natural ingredients. These ingredients should be the first listed in an ingredient list on your product label.
